Entry Level SMT Machine Operator
Aerotek is hiring 2 SMT Operators for a PCB board/Electronics Manufcaturerer in Carlsbad. Positon is open to Low level, Mid-Level, and High Level applicants based on years of experience below:
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift (+ 10% differential) avaible
Pay:
- The starting pay for a level I operator is $17 an hour on 1st shift and $18.70 on 2nd shift
- 6 months to 1 year of experience, we'd wiggle to $17.50
Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with loading, calibrating, and operating SMT machines (SMT pick-and-place machines for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly)
Following detailed processes (placing components as outlined in documents provided)
Experience using a microscope to verify correct component placement and orientation
Soldering to manually realign components prior to re-flow
Apply solder paste to PCBs using the MPM 100 or MPM 2500 printing equipment
IPC certification or familiarity with IPC standards like 610
