Fandom is growing! Our Financial Planning & Analysis Manager opportunity is based in the U.S., and reports to our Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.
As a FP&A Manager, you are an important member of the Finance team, serving as an interface between Finance and partners. You will bring best practices and thoughtful approaches to modeling the short-term and long-term business, consolidate our results, and develop meaningful business insights. You will monitor performance against the budget, partner with executives and department owners to adjust plans, and will deliver value-added business analyses that leads to accurate decision-making.
You Will…
Support company-wide financial planning process; long-term strategy, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and reconciliation of variances to actual results
Develop trusted relationships with a broad base of important partners as an important contact for Finance
Create department and functional-level financial forecasts that predict our performance to manage towards desired outcomes.
Contribute to the development and evolution of FP&A processes, and reporting; improve visibility and accountability towards increasing operating leverage for the business
Support strategic short and long-term our decisions through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities
You Have…
5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance and operational roles
BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline
Track record of assembling and presenting complex financial analyses to senior management
1+ years of experience with implementation and enhancement of corporate financial systems (we use Adaptive Insights and Netsuite)
Experience turning data into applicable insights through business models and reporting
Advanced skills in using Excel (modeling, datasets)
Bonus if you have
Relevant certification (e.g. CPA)
First-hand knowledge of online advertising, e-commerce, and consumer-oriented SaaS business models
Experience using Analytics tools
