What You’ll Do
The Head of Global Campaigns and Americas Marketing will play a dual role leading our global campaigns function and owning marketing strategy and execution for the Americas region. The global campaigns function
will define and deliver our global integrated campaign strategy and drive worldwide campaign planning and execution. In this role, you will develop a strong and trusted relationship with Product Marketing and with each of the Regional Marketing heads to ensure that Stripe has an integrated marketing approach from product launches, to demand generation campaigns, and through to local activation in each market. The Americas Marketing function owns regional demand generation and field marketing for the US, Canada, and Latin America. In this role, you will develop a strong trusted relationship with the regional Sales team, working closely with Sales leadership, Sales Development, and Sales Ops
teams to jointly grow pipeline. This is a key leadership role in the Stripe Marketing organization that will have an opportunity to both define our global campaign strategy and operating framework, as well as deliver campaigns and events to drive sales pipeline in our largest region. 

  • Lead the global strategy to define and execute integrated marketing at Stripe; drive alignment on strategy and operating frameworks within marketing and with cross-functional partners, including Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Regional Marketing, Growth, Marketing Operations, Data Science, Insights & Analytics, Sales, Partnerships, and others
  • Define and operationalize a differentiated marketing motion for complex large users (i.e. Enterprise) and a scaled motion for smaller users (i.e. Startups, SMBs), and build distinct strategies for net new customer acquisition and install base expansion and retention
  • Lead the team that builds and delivers our global  campaign strategy, including campaign prioritization, campaign content and creative development, localization strategy, channel strategy definition and optimization, programmatic delivery of campaign assets for local activation, and on-going operational management of campaign activity calendars and performance reporting
  • Lead Marketing for the Americas region, including all customer segments in the US, Canada, Latin America, with strong coordination with Sales leadership; customer segments include enterprise, digital native, software platforms, small businesses, and startups 
  • Own key business and revenue metrics across self-serve, the sales funnel, and customer growth and retention
  • Define and execute full funnel marketing plans including digital marketing, demand generation campaigns, sales prospecting programs, virtual and in-person field events, and third party tradeshows and conferences
  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Data Science, and Analytics teams to continually evolve targeting, fidelity of intent signals, and ability to quality experiment 
  • Track, measure, and communicate marketing results, continually optimize for efficiency and scale, and seek to generate new global best practices through experimental efforts  
  • Be creative in finding new ways of advising a diverse range of personas about the value Stripe brings to businesses 

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years experience in developing B2B technology marketing strategy, including managing the business to a demand funnel across across multiple countries, customer segments, and products  
  • 10+ years building and leading high performing marketing teams
  • Proven track record of defining and executing demand marketing and field marketing strategies that deliver against funnel metrics and KPIs for both net new customers and existing customers
  • Proven success leading global integrated campaigns functions, driving cross functional alignment on strategy, and reliably delivering against campaign production schedules
  • Experience partnering with product marketing teams to deeply understand products, solutions, messaging and content, and with regional marketing teams to activate global strategies in local markets
  • Deep understanding of CRM, marketing automation, SEM, account-based marketing, performance marketing, and email marketing tactics and technology
  • Experience developing and executing both scaled and targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs across all stages of the funnel
  • Experience designing and delivering both digital and in-person event environments, with in-depth knowledge incorporating event experiences into the buyer’s journey to generate demand
  • Experience working closely with Sales teams, including joint planning and execution, lead management, driving disciplined lead follow up, and earning trust as a strategic business partner
  • Proven leadership capability and effectiveness working collaboratively and cross functionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering tailored marketing content and experiences for customer segments spanning from early stage startups to the largest enterprise companies
  • Experience marketing cloud services and/or software solutions
  • Understanding of the payments, financial technology, and/or ecommerce industries and partner ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success delivering marketing programs with and through consulting and technology partners
  • A startup mentality with a bias to action and the ability to flex in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb organization and project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at once
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data

Pay & Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $260,700 - $368,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
