SUMMARY:
The Social Content Creator will focus on creation and production of high-end content for Hourglass Cosmetics organic social channels. This role will conceptualize and execute compelling social campaigns, content series and social assets that are ownable to the brand. This role will be responsible for ideation, concept creation, creative direction, and production for Hourglass social content. Candidates should have a deep understanding of luxury best practices within the social landscape and experience implementing and them for a beauty brand.
RESPONSBILITIES:
Work with the Hourglass Creative and Social teams to strategize, conceptualize, and execute social media ideas and content across Hourglass organic social including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube
Develop high-impact social media assets to be used across Hourglass social accounts (primarily Instagram and TikTok) aligning with creative and social on key priorities, creative approach, and guidelines
Concept, shoot, edit, and deliver lower-production-scale video assets intended for TikTok, leveraging in-house studio and lean crew to output high quality assets on a regular and frequent cadence
Work with creative director to develop and maintain an elevated and cohesive social media aesthetic, persona and creative voice that is ownable to Hourglass
Work with social team to develop content pillars, asset needs and social-specific shot lists
Support execution of in-house and off-site photo and video shoots as part of large-scale 360 campaign shots identifying needs for social
Collaborate with in-house creative teams on still and video content postproduction intended for organic social distribution
Conceptualize the creative solution and look/feel for identified and new social content series and lead the creation of compelling one-off content
Source and maintain a library of externally developed content and creator partners that fit the Hourglass social aesthetic and could be utilized on Hourglass channels
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with a luxury brand; understanding of premium aesthetics and track record of creating compelling, consistent, and high-quality content
Deep understanding of social media landscape, emerging content formats and best-practice across platforms specifically Instagram and TikTok
High-level of experience directing and producing social media shoots, with the ability to create assets with quick-turn around delivery
Highly skilled in Photography and Videography; ability to personally shoot and edit content that meets the needs of social creative briefs
Ability to use Photoshop, InDesign, video editing, etc.
