R&D Efficiency Manager (Full Time; Multiple Openings)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for conducting operational reviews and enabling proper resources to manage RingCentral’s strategic R&D initiatives, establish KPIs, and drive proportional organizational growth and efficiency within RingCentral’s Innovation team.

JOB DUTIES: Driving quarterly efficiency and automation initiatives across all product development in R&D by setting and overseeing completion of engineering goals within the department; Establishing and managing metrics and KPls around Product, Engineering and QA productivity, velocity and quality of RingCentral's products; Conducting engineering operational and performance reviews, analyzing and reporting on R&D efficiency across all global locations; Building strategic reports and presenting scenario models for efficient allocation of resources to projects and products to senior leadership for annual operational planning; Managing fulfillment of ad-hoc analytical requests as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with Agile, Scrum, establishing KPIs, software development, visualization tools, Tableau, Airtable, project management, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE /

QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
